Marco Visconti - The book

Marco Visconti Feb 12, 2026

Composition and structure of the book:

Binding of the book

The binding on this volume is a facsimile of the first original on exhibition among the Treasures of the Vatican, and was here reproduced for the first time.

It is an Italian binding of the middle of the sixteenth century (1549). The cover is ornamented with an extraordinary geometrical and arabesque design, parts of which are blind stamped with heated tools to change the color of the leather.

Presentation of the series

For clarity we will report this index in a modified version at the beginning of the publication of the text, each chapter after the "Introduction" will contain a link to the previous and next chapter, so that the reader can easily follow the unfolding of the story told in the novel.
We apologize for any errors, which we invite you to report to us promptly. Please live a comment or write to: gmaitila@gmail.com

The book would have been printed in 1907 by "The Nationals Alumns"
