On the other, the Trump administration is using the crisis as a pretext to reinforce U.S. military presence and attempt to control the most sensitive chokepoint of global energy trade: the Strait of Hormuz.
The mechanism is familiar: create instability, wait for Iran’s predictable response, and then invoke the need to “protect” global markets. It is the same logic used in Suez in 1956, revived for the present era.
Meanwhile, the European Union stands out for its absence. Despite being Israel’s main trading partner, it continues to ignore violations of international law, offering only empty statements and selective sanctions. This European complicity is not a footnote: it is one of the enabling conditions of the current crisis.

What is unfolding today is not diplomacy, not strategy, not “regional tension.” It is the open triumph of a Zionist ideological machine that has fused the interests of Israel and the United States into a single project of domination — a project that resurrects the logic of colonial conquest under the polished language of democracy and security.
This is not a metaphor.
It is a new colonial order, built on the ruins of the old empires but driven by the same hunger: control of land, resources, populations, and narratives. The actors have changed; the methods have not. Bombard, displace, annex, destabilize — then call it “self‑defense.”
And Europe?
Europe kneels.
The European Union, once eager to proclaim itself guardian of human rights, has become a bureaucratic echo chamber for Washington and Tel Aviv. Its leaders do not merely look away — they collaborate. They sign agreements, repeat talking points, and offer political cover to policies that violate every principle Europe claims to stand for.
Worse still, they do so against the interests of their own citizens.
Because every time Europe bends the knee, the consequences return home:
- higher energy prices,
- rising cost of living,
- inflation that eats salaries and savings,
- and populations forced to pay for geopolitical games they never chose.
This is the true obscenity:
Europe is not only a spectator — it is a co‑author.
A continent that once suffered under empires now helps sustain a new one, even as its own people bear the economic and social fallout.
Call it what it is:
complicity dressed as diplomacy, cowardice disguised as pragmatism, and a betrayal of the very populations European leaders claim to represent.
