The Nazi and self-destructive policy of Trump and the MAGA

As the author of the article rightly says, and as is proven daily by the facts, the government policy of Trump, moreover erratic and incomprehensible to most, and of the MAGA aimed at bringing the US economy back to the previous greatness, on which the absurd hopes of the voters were based, is committing unforgivable mistakes. It began with an attempt, considered by major economists to be wrong, to reduce the federal deficit through the application of heavy tariffs on imports, and, consequently, to attract production from external to domestic, and bypass the country's most convenient policy. A move that was also forced, due to the misuse and mis justification of an old law that gave the President broad powers in case of emergency, under scrutiny by the Supreme Court, and humiliating for Parliament, which, despite the majority of conservative justices, could be rejected with the consequent collapse of finances. Continued with the bullying of the Federal Reserve, of European countries, Ukraine, Venezuela, Greenland and Canada. Totally alien to domestic and international rules, complacent towards criminal governments such as that of Netanyahu and Putin. Finally, it resulted in an attempt to attack democratic states and to terrorize their populations with the excuse of eliminating illegal immigrants who are allegedly guilty of crimes, by force, and without legitimate rules. It culminated in the establishment of a massive paramilitary corps, comparable to the Gestapo, but in a pejorative way, admittedly with special powers and immune from any responsibility, in a deliberate attempt to create fear and overcome all civil resistance.

The problem for them, and significantly for Trump and his sycophants, but also for the right in general and its presumption that force always wins, is that the assumption is not based on the reality of human nature, it is true that "These agents, and the president who sent them, are no one's heroes, no one's saviors" they are "just men with guns who have to hide their faces to shoot a mom in the face, and a nurse in the back."

They would still have much to learn from Gandhi who professed "non-violence" and with it freed India from an empire.

Como dice acertadamente el autor del artículo, y como demuestran diariamente los hechos, la política gubernamental de Trump, además errática e incomprensible para la mayoría, y la MAGA, destinada a devolver la economía estadounidense a la grandeza anterior, en la que se basaban las absurdas esperanzas de los votantes, está cometiendo errores imperdonables. Comenzó con un intento, considerado por los principales economistas como erróneo, de reducir el déficit federal mediante la aplicación de fuertes aranceles a las importaciones y, en consecuencia, de atraer la producción externa a la nacional, y evitar la política más conveniente del país. Una medida que también fue forzada, debido al mal uso y la mala justificación de una antigua ley que otorgaba al Presidente amplios poderes en caso de emergencia, bajo escrutinio del Tribunal Supremo, y humillante para el Parlamento, que, a pesar de la mayoría de jueces conservadores, podía ser rechazada con el consiguiente colapso de las finanzas. Continuó con el acoso a la Reserva Federal, a países europeos, Ucrania, Venezuela, Groenlandia y Canadá. Totalmente ajeno a las normas nacionales e internacionales, complaciente con gobiernos criminales como el de Netanyahu y Putin. Finalmente, resultó en un intento de atacar a los estados democráticos y aterrorizar a sus poblaciones con la excusa de eliminar a los inmigrantes ilegales que supuestamente son culpables de delitos, por la fuerza y sin normas legítimas. Culminó en el establecimiento de un enorme cuerpo paramilitar, comparable a la Gestapo, pero de forma peyorativa, aunque con poderes especiales e inmune a cualquier responsabilidad, en un intento deliberado de crear miedo y superar toda resistencia civil.
El problema para ellos, y significativamente para Trump y sus aduladores, pero también para la derecha en general y su presunción de que la fuerza siempre gana, es que la suposición no se basa en la realidad de la naturaleza humana, es cierto que "Estos agentes, y el presidente que los envió, no son héroes de nadie, ni salvadores de nadie", son "solo hombres armados que tienen que ocultar la cara para dispararle a una madre en la y una enfermera en la parte de atrás."
Aún tendrían mucho que aprender de Gandhi, que profesaba la "no violencia" y con ello liberó a la India de un imperio.

Come dice giustamente l'autore dell'articolo, e come dimostrano quotidianamente i fatti, la politica governativa di Trump, erratica e incomprensibile per la maggior parte della gente, e della MAGA volta a riportare l'economia statunitense alla grandezza precedente, su cui si basavano le assurde speranze degli elettori, sta commettendo errori imperdonabili. Tutto iniziò con un tentativo, considerato sbagliato dai principali economisti, di ridurre il deficit federale attraverso l'applicazione di pesanti dazi sulle importazioni e, di conseguenza, di attrarre la produzione esterna a quella interna, bypassando la politica più conveniente del paese. Una mossa che fu anche forzata, a causa dell'uso improprio e della cattiva giustificazione di una vecchia legge che conferiva al Presidente ampi poteri in caso di emergenza, sotto esame della Corte Suprema, e umiliante per il Parlamento, che, nonostante la maggioranza dei giudici conservatori, potrebbe essere respinta con il conseguente crollo delle finanze. È proseguito con il bullismo verso la Federal Reserve, i paesi europei, l'Ucraina, il Venezuela, la Groenlandia e il Canada. Totalmente estraneo alle regole interne e internazionali, compiacente verso governi criminali come quello di Netanyahu e Putin. Infine, ha portato a un tentativo di attaccare gli stati democratici e di terrorizzare le loro popolazioni con la scusa di eliminare gli immigrati illegali presumibilmente colpevoli di crimini, con la forza e senza regole legittime. Culminò nell'istituzione di un enorme corpo paramilitare, paragonabile alla Gestapo, ma in modo dispregiativo, ammettiamolo, con poteri speciali e immune da ogni responsabilità, in un tentativo deliberato di creare paura e superare ogni resistenza civile.
Il problema per loro, e in particolare per Trump e i suoi adulatori, ma anche per la destra in generale e la sua presunzione che la forza vinca sempre, è che l'assunzione non si basa sulla realtà della natura umana, è vero che "Questi agenti, e il presidente che li ha mandati, non sono gli eroi di nessuno, i salvatori di nessuno" sono "solo uomini armati che devono nascondere il volto per sparare a una madre in fronte e a un infermiere alle spalle."
Avrebbero ancora molto da imparare da Gandhi, che professava la "nonviolenza" e con essa liberò l'India da un impero.
