Herd of impalas, Londolozi Reserve, South Africa

Jan 5, 2026

Today we see a herd of impalas in the Londolozi Reserve, South Africa. This place is one of the most emblematic corners of the Kruger National Park, famous for its biodiversity and landscapes that seem to be taken from a documentary. The impalas, with their elegant bearing and agile movements, are common protagonists in these plains. Their ability to make spectacular jumps and change direction quickly allows them to move gracefully through tall grass, always attentive to what is happening around them. Observing them in the wild is a reminder of the untamed beauty that defines African wildlife.

This image reminds us of another agile and discreet inhabitant of our forests: the roe deer. Although he lives in a very different environment, he shares that elegance and vigilant attitude that fascinates so much. Seeing him move between clearings and shadows, with light movements and an alert gaze, connects us with the same feeling of harmony that the African herd awakens.
