Wind and water erosion over millions of years resulted in these curves that appear to move, even though they are stationary. Access to the most spectacular formations, known as The Wave, is strictly limited to preserve the rock's fragility. This protection system reflects a fundamental principle: there are landscapes that can only survive if the human footprint is limited.
